Just before Halloween I found a Harry Potter Gryffindor robe at Goodwill for $2. I bought some eyeglasses there as well and popped out the lenses and, with just a few additions around the house (chopstick wand, knitted scarf, stuffed owl) we had a pretty complete costume. Max has recently been really into Mr. Potter and all his wizarding adventures, so we pulled out the costume this evening for a bit of magical fun.

I love seeing them so excited about a literary character. Next up, the Narnia series, although not for awhile since we're only on book 3 of the Potter series.
