Yesterday Gus asked if you could come over to see his new shoes. He's so proud of them. It is difficult for a 3-year old to understand the concept of distance, but we reminded him, as we have done so many times in the past couple weeks, that you are simply too far away for a quick visit. He thought it would be a good idea to send you a picture of his shoes. He's certain you will love them. So here they are, in all their orange splendor:
